This is an outline of my wife's family beginning with Margaret's Father William
Robinson “Bill” who also fought in a war. He was a Gunner in the Royal Artillery,
and was in the D- day Landings in the 2nd world war, and fought across Europe until
the the fall of the 3rd Reich. He was a humble countryman who was revered by everyone
who came into contact with him His philosophy was if you cannot do someone a good
turn do not do them a bad one. That thought was passed on to his entire Family.I
had the good fortune to marry his daughter Margaret who has kept me in check ever
since. Bills Wife Norah was also a Hertfordshire country woman. They had four children
, Maureen Margaret Peter and Keith. I think I mentioned Margaret was diagnosed as
type1 diabetic at the age of 15. Peter was diagnosed at the age of 21.
